Kate Miller is the innovative artist and designer behind California-based Elworthy Studio, offering sustainable wallpapers and fabrics. Avant garde design techniques and an earthy, sensual color palette contribute to the brand’s signature style, at once opulent and moody, romantic and edgy, sophisticated and raw.
Since 2015, Kate has been creating designs that take inspiration from the beauty of the natural world and the raw energy of urban life. The design process always begins by hand with an exploration of various techniques such as painting, printmaking, and rust dyeing. Rather than designing based on current trends, Kate creates from the soul with the intention that people will connect with Elworthy’s designs on a deeper, emotional level.
