According to Sunset, KAte is one of the West's Best New Designers!
Who am I to argue? ; )
Sunset Magazine has been around for over 100 years, sharing expertise on all things West Coast. From travel hotspots and gardening know-how, to food, art and design, readers trust what they read between the covers of this publication. So I was THRILLED to receive a call from their editorial team letting me know that I’d been selected for their “Emerging Class of 2020.”
What does this mean exactly? Sunset describes it like this:
“For over a century, Sunset has given readers the freshest and most inspiring home design ideas. We’ve covered the birth and rebirth of midcentury modernism, tracked color trends, touted tiny homes, and predicted prefab. This award is the evolution of that mission, and a way to honor the people who are changing the way we live today.” (Sunset March/April issue, by Sally Kuchar + Nena Farrell)
I am greatly honored and fully committed to continuing on this path. My desire with Elworthy Studio is to innovate and create from a place of soulful integrity. It feels really good to be recognized for the hard work I’ve put in over the past four years.
